World’s best Eliminator athletes will contest the inaugural UCI World Cup at the Zuidboulevard in Waregem, Belgium. The race course in Waregem will have no secrets for defending UCI World Champions Titouan Perrin-Ganier (France) and Italy’s Gaia Tormena, as they took home the rainbow jersey last year.
Other big names in the men’s competition include Simon Gegenheimer, Jeroen van Eck and Hugo Briatta, who respectively won the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Women to watch include former UCI World Champion Coline Clauzure (France) and former UCI World Cup winner Lizzy Witlox (The Netherlands). Also keep an eye on last year’s round 1 winner Marion Fromberger from Germany.
