New date for 2023 UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Championships

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and City Mountainbike announce that the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Championships, originally scheduled to be held in Palangkaraya, Indonesia, on 15 October, will take place at the same venue on 12 November.

The event had to be postponed due to forest fires around the city of Palangkaraya. The impact on air quality meant that sporting activities would have been harmful for the athletes, making the postponement of the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Championships unavoidable.

Now that the situation has returned to normal, the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Championships can take place at the planned venue under optimum conditions on Sunday 12 November.
