Riders to watch
Overall World Cup leader Gaia Tormena missed out qualifying in last round in Valkenswaard (The Netherlands) due to UCI World Championships fatigue but is hoping to be back in action for the final two rounds. Look out for Sweden’s Ella Holmegard and Marion Fromberger from Germany, only a handful of points away from the Italian rider.
Men to watch include defending UCI World Champion Titouan Perrin-Ganier (France), who is still on the hunt for his first UCI World Cup victory, along with fellow French rider Hugo Briatta. Also keep an eye on last year’s winner Fabrice Mels (Belgium) and Germany’s Simon Gegenheimer.
