Continental Bicycle Tires partner with City Mountainbike

City Mountainbike is thrilled to announce Continental as Official Partner of the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup.

Continental Bicycle tires is know for its long-standing involvement in cycling that provides maximum grip for any type of athlete. With superior grip and fast rolling, the Mountain King is the perfect companion for exploring trails and hilly terrain. The continuous central tread and grippy outer lugs are made with BlackChili Grip, and ProTection technology – three plies in the sidewalls and four under the tread – mean the whole tire has greater resilience and is less vulnerable to damage.

For Continental Bicycle Tires, the decision to partner with City Mountainbike was straightforward, following the successes of the previous years of the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup to create the greatest tires possible for a global audience of mountain bikers.

Commenting on the partnership, Kristof Bruyneel, Managing Director of City Mountainbike, said, “This is a fantastic time for us to be partners with Continental. With Continental on board, the goal is not just to showcase its high-performance tires but also to focus attention on Continental’s Vision Zero initiative – a world without road fatalities and accidents. In this context, the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup is an ideal opportunity to draw attention and promote greater mutual respect between vehicle drivers and cyclists so they can share the road safely in city centres across the world with a distance of 1.5 meters.”

“Safety is a constant in our company in all areas, from specific systems of active and preventive safety, to tyres for all types of vehicles, including bicycles. Being an official sponsor of UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup is part of our commitment to developing high-tech products and making mobility safer for everyone”, said Oliver Anhuth, Global Head of Marketing at Continental Bicycle Tires.
