2026 has barely started, but the 2026 UCI MTB Eliminator World Championships in Barcelona are less than three months away. On Saturday, April 18, the iconic rainbow jerseys and gold medals will be handed out to the new UCI World Champions.

Of course, we’ll present the Worlds in Barcelona in more detail in the upcoming newsletters, but we can already reveal this: the proven track in BCN will be updated for the occasion, with the finish line moving to a more central position on the course, at the foot of the iconic stairway sections!

The 2026 calendar for the UCI MTB Eliminator World Cup is now final. Five races, three continents, countless emotions ahead!Racing will once again start in Asia, on April 5 in Tajikistan. That opener is followed by a big racing block at the start of summer: Sakarya, Türkiye on June 14, our brand-new round in Gdynia, Poland on June 27, and then Aalen, Germany on July 11 — a classic that always attracts insane numbers of fans!This year’s Grande

Finale of the UCI World Cup will take place in South America, in the metropolis of São Paulo, Brazil. On August 16, we’ll know the new UCI World Cup champions!

For 2026, we’re proud to introduce the City Mountainbike Eliminator Pro League: a brand-new, high-level racing series bringing together the eliminator stars in some of the biggest cities around the globe.

An impressive €25,000 prize pot and worldwide live TV coverage will make the Pro League a standout series in the world of mountain biking.We couldn’t dream of a better place to kick off our new racing series, as the 2026 Pro League will start on March 29 in Addis Ababa — the capital of Ethiopia, the heart of Africa, and a crossroads of history and culture.This is only the start of something great: more events for the 2026 Pro League will be announced later!

Our City Mountainbike Series is also back for 2026, offering eliminator riders even more chances to race throughout the season.

We’re happy to already confirm three races for the 2026 calendar.First up: Pieve di Soligo, Italy, on May 30. Next, another brand-new race, in Belgium: Olen, on September 5. Last year’s European Championships venue, Gibraltar, will close the 2026 City Mountainbike Series on October 4.
